Tutoring

Price: $65 / hour -  All ACT, GRE, GMAT, and SAT subjects

We offer one-on-one Tutoring in Math, Reading Comprehension, Science Comprehension,  English AND Writing. 

These are Custom created sessions to meet the specific needs of each student. They are tailored to help you better prepare for your High School Classes, AP level classes, or get you ready for a College Test like the ACT, SAT, GRE, or GMAT.

We begin with a pre-meeting with the student and the parent(s) to determine your goals and an assessment of your present skills. There is NO CHARGE for this session. We then provide you with a workplan on how Horizon Learning Solutions can help you meet your objectives.

The private one-on-one sessions  are typically 2 hours for each session. 


College Applications and Essays

Price: $100 initial review / $60 per hour for additional services

Initial Review - Includes meeting with you, reviewing your college application, along with your portfolio of achievements, and helping create the best way you can present yourself in the application.  We wll also develop a framework on how you write your college application essays using your specific work and academic achievements. This review will last approx. 2 hours.

Other Services / Followup Reviews - This portion is tailormade for you the individual. It can incude one of many services, including personal help with college essays, how to prepare for specific college interviews, mock interviews, and presentation skills.
